Ingredients

boneless chicken thighs, cut into bite-sized cubes

For the marinade:

1 oz root ginger, peeled and grated

2 large garlic cloves, peeled and grated

salt and freshly ground black pepper

For the coating:

2 tablespoons cornflour

2 tablespoons plain flour

vegetable oil, for deep frying

2 slices lemon, to garnish

Spicy Ginger Sauce

2 tablespoons rice vinegar

2 tablespoons low-sodium tamari soy sauce

1 tablespoon sugar

1 teaspoon fresh ginger

½ teaspoon Sriracha hot chili sauce

1 hawaiian chili pepper crushed
