  • 2 chicken bouillon cubes or
  • 2 tsp. chicken stock base
  • 1/4 cup pale dry sherry
  • 2 tbsp. cornstarch
  • 2 tbsp. water
  • 3 tbsp. brandy or cognac, warmed
