For the Vinaigrette: 1 egg 1 tablespoon minced anchovy, drained and rinsed 1 clove garlic, finely chopped 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice 2 tablespoons Dijon-style mustard 1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce 3/4 cup olive oil salt and freshly ground black pepper For the Salad: 3 to 4 hearts of romaine lettuce, washed and dried 1/4 cup mixed fresh herbs such as parsley, basil, chives and rosemary 1/4 cup parmesan cheese Six Cheese bread sticks (optional)
