Ingredients

  • 600g beef fillet, trimmed
  • 100g Chicken Liver Pâté
  • 1 Tbsp olive oil
  • 20g butter
  • 3 eschallots, chopped finely
  • 200g mushrooms, sliced thinly
  • ¼ cup brandy
  • 2 sheets frozen puff pastry
  • 1 egg yolk combined with 2 Tbsp water
  • Flaked salt, to taste
  • Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
