- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 1 and 1/2 cups of raisins or other dried fruit
- 1 cup of milk or more
- 1 teaspoon mixed spice of choice
- 1 and 1/2 bicarb of soda mixed into 2 tblsp of boiling water at the last minute
