Ingredients
- 500g lean steak mince
- 1 onion chopped finely
- 1 clove garlic, crushed
- 1 cup breadcrumbs (using stale bread - not dried)
- salt & pepper to taste
- 2 tabs ketchup
- 1/2 tsp dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp dried basil
- 1 egg beaten
- oil for frying
- FOR SAUCE:
- 2 tabs plain flour
- 400ml chicken stock
- 100ml white wine or add extra 100ml stock to above if not using wine
- 1 heaped tabs tomato puree
- pepper to taste
- 1 heaped tabs chopped fresh parsley (optional)
