  • 660g sugar
  • 150g unsalted butter, room temperature
  • 375g plain flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 375ml milk
  • 100g chopped walnuts
  • 50g hazelnuts
  • 50g almonds
  • 50g raisins
  • 50g dried apricots
  • 100g mixed peel
  • For the icing:
  • 1 egg white
  • 300g icing sugar
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • mint leaves, glace cherries and walnuts for decoration
