2 tablespoons olive oil1 lb sweet Italian sausage link, skin removed4 cloves garlic, chopped1 medium onion, chopped1/2 teaspoon caraway seed1 bay leaf1 teaspoon sage(I use Bell?s seasoning)1/2 cup white wine1 1/2 cups chicken stock1 cup canned pumpkin1 tablespoon peanut butter1/2 cup heavy cream1 pinch ground cinnamon1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg salt & pepper1 lb penne or 1 lb rigatoni pasta, cooked al dente grated parmesan cheese
