2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
 
1/2 teaspoon salt
 
1 8 ounce can (1 cup) stewed tomatoes
 
1/4 cup chopped celery
 
1/4 cup chopped carrot
 
1 tablespoon chopped onion
 
1/4 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
 
2 tablespoons shredded sharp process American cheese

Description

Oven Swiss Steak Is A Semi Cooked And Semi Roasted Steak That Is Prepared Along With Vegetables. Browned With Shortening, The Beef Is Roasted With A Vegetables Like Celery , Carrots And Onions And Served With A Sprinkling Of Melted American Cheese On Top.
