  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup margarine or butter
  • 1/2 to 3/4 cup milk
  • 2 eggs, separated (reserve egg whites for brushing crust)
  • 2 teaspoons grated lemon peel
  • 2 cans (21 ounces each) raspberry pie filling
  • 1/2 cup chopped hazelnuts (filberts)
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
