Lori's Cranberry Rice Salad

Ingredients

    1 1/2 c water
    2/3 c uncooked brown rice
    1/3 c chopped pecans
    1-8 ox can sliced water chestnuts, drained and coarsely chopped
    1/2 c chopped green onions
    1/2 c dried cranberries
    3 T sugar
    3 T cider vinegar
    3 T low sodium soy sauce
    1 t grated. peeled fresh ginger
    1 t grated orange rind
    1/4 t crushed red pepper.
