    salt and pepper to taste
    1 tsp. minced garlic
    1 (15-oz.) can black beans, rinsed and drained
    1 1/2 c. frozen yellow corn kernels
    1/4 c. chipotle peppers in adobo sauce, pureed
    1/2 c. chicken broth
    1 1/2 c. fat-free half and half
    chopped green onions and tomatoes for garnish
