Ingredients

    1 cup whole wheat pastry flour (whole wheat
    flour is fine but not quite as light)
    1/2 cup oats (put in blender for a few seconds)
    2 T. Flax meal
    3-6 envelopes Stevia or Splenda
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. baking soda
    dash salt
    3/4 cup buttermilk or sour milk
    3 TBSP applesauce, or mashed fruit (I use
    4 mashed apricots)
    1/2 Cup blueberries, cranberries etc (optional)
