For the Sauce:

8 ounce can of "no salt added" tomato sauce
* 1 teaspoon sugar
* 1 teaspoon Italian Seasoning OR 1/2 teaspoon basil & 1/4 teaspoon oregano
* 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
* 1 teaspoon onion powder
* 1 teaspoon olive oil for flavoring (optional)
Toppings:

2 cups part-skim mozzarella cheese
* 2 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese
* 1/2 lb ground turkey or ground beef (omitted from this recipe)
* 1/2 teaspoon salt (added to sauce)
* 1/8 teaspoon pepper (added to sauce)
* 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder (added to sauce)
