    1 tsp dried oregano
    1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
    3 anchovy fillets, minced to a paste
    1 (28 oz) can diced tomatoes
    1 piece Parmesan cheese rind, about 5 by 2 inches
    2 (15.5 oz) cans cannellini beans, drained and rinsed
    3 1/2 cups low sodium chicken broth
    2 1/2 cups water
    salt
    8 oz small pasta shape (orzo, conchigliette, etc.)
    1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
    ground black pepper
    3 oz. parmesan cheese, freshly grated
