Veg Pulao With More Veggies And Less Rice

Ingredients

    2 cups french cut green beans
    2 cups diced tomatoes (or canned diced tomatoes - drained)
    1 medium onion sliced
    1/2 cup frozen spinach
    2 tsp ginger garlic paste
    2 green chillies
    1/2 tsp red chilli powder
    1/2 tsp garam masala powder

    1/2 cup basmati rice - washed and soaked for 20-30 min

    for tempering -
    3 tsp oil
    1 tsp cumin seed
    1 bay leaf
    1" cinnamon stick
    5-6 cloves
    4-5 green cardamom
    7-8 black peppercorn
