Ingredients
- SLAW:
2 1/2 cups shredded cooked chicken breast (~1 lb)
3/4 cup finely chopped celery
1/2 cup chopped sugar snap peas
1/2 cup chopped red bell pepper
1/4 cup finely chopped onion
1 (10 oz) package angel hair slaw, or 4 cups shredded iceberg lettuce
1 (8 oz) can sliced water chestnuts, drained
DRESSING:
1/4 cup cider vinegar
1/4 cup seasoned rice vinegar (like Nakano)
2 Tbsp sugar
1 tsp salt
2 tsp low-sodium soy sauce
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp freshly ground black pepper
REMAINING INGREDIENT:
1 tsp sesame seeds, toasted
(you can also add 1/4 cup slivered almonds, if you like)
Description
This Recipe Is Either A Good Lunch Option Or A Great Side For Dinner. The Original CL Version Included 1/4 Cup Slivered Almonds As Well, But I Removed Those (since My SO Hates Nuts...).
