    1 c. Lundberg California Brown Basmati Rice
    2 c. chicken broth or water
    1 Tablespoon butter
    1 bay leaf
    1 Tablespoon vegetable oil
    1 c. chopped onion
    1/3 c. thinly sliced celery
    1/4 c. seedless raisins
    1 tsp. finely chopped, peeled fresh ginger
    1 tsp. ground cumin
    1/2 tsp. ground coriander
    freshly ground black pepper
    1 Tablespoon light (reduced sodium) soy sauce
