Mare's Cinnamon Raisin Breakfast Protein Bars

Ingredients

    6 cup Oats (Original Oat Meal)
    1 cup Wheat Germ
    1 cup Ground Flax Seed
    1 cup Soy Protein Powder
    3/4 cup Dry Nonfat Milk
    1 tbsp & 1 tsp Ground Cinnamon
    1/2 tsp Salt
    1-1/2 cups Raisins

    3/4 cup Dark Brown Sugar(packed)
    3/4 cup Karo's Light Corn Syrup
    1 1/2 cups Apple Sauce (no sugar added)

    1/2 cup Wheat Germ for coating bars when hardened

Description

These Breakfast Bars Are A Great Way To Start Your Morning, Especially Before Or After A Work Out. When I Make A Batch I Keep Them In The Freezer And Just Take One Out And Let It Thaw For About 10-15 Minutes. It's A Great Way To Keep Them Fresh.
