Classic Creamy Rice Pudding with Cranberries


5 cups (1.25 L) milk cup (125 mL) sugar cup (125 mL) arborio rice 1 tsp (5 mL) grated orange rind Pinch salt cup (125 mL) dried cranberries 1 tsp (5 mL) vanilla 2 tbsp (25 mL) butter cup (125 mL) whipping cream tsp (1 mL) cinnamon (or to taste)


This Recipe Is Inspired By My Grandmother's Rice Pudding, Although She Did Not Use Arborio Rice, As It Was Unavailable At That Time. Arborio Gives The Dish An Extra Creamy Texture, As It Absorbs The Liquid So Well. Use Raisins Instead Of Cranberries Or Om
