Handi Biryani Pt 1 Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 c. Long grain rice
  • 2 x Potatoes quartered boiled
  • 2 x Capsicums cut into strips
  • 2 x Onions minced into strips
  • 2 x Onions quartered
  • 2 x Tomatoes minced
  • 1 c. Slices mixed vegetables, (frenchbeans, carrots, cauliflower, etc.)
  • 1 tsp Ginger grated
  • 1 tsp Garlic grated
  • 1 c. Curd
  • 2 x Bay leaves
  • 2 x Cloves
  • 1 x Inch cinnamon stick
  • 2 x Cardamoms
  • 4 whl black peppers, (4 to 5)
  • 1 tsp Red chilli pwdr
  • 1 tsp Garam masala
  •     Salt to taste
  • 1/4 tsp Turmeric pwdr
  • 2 pch asafoetida, (2 to 3)
  • 1 Tbsp. Lemon juice
  • 1 Tbsp. Coriander minced
  • 10 x Cashews, (10 to 15)
  • 10 x Almonds sliced to flakes, (optional) (10 to 12)
  • 4 Tbsp. Ghee, (4 to 5)
