- 1 c. minced celery
- 1 c. dry white wine
- 1 x 10 oz bag sliced okra
- 40 ounce stewed red ripe tomatoes in juice, not puree.

- 1/2 c. pearl barley
- 1/2 c. brown rice
- 2 c. tomato juice (from reserved juice)
- 1Â 1/4 c. liquid broth or possibly water
- 1 dsh Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp dry rosemary crushed
- 1/2 tsp allspice
- 1/2 tsp cloves
- 1 tsp cayenne pepper
