  • 1 Tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 shallot, chopped
  • 1 Tablespoon tomato paste
  • 1 cup red wine (I used Merlot)
  • 1 scant teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
