Steamed Whole Fish Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 whl Fish - (2 to 3 lbs)
  •     (sea bass, red snapper or possibly rock cod) cleaned, gutted,
  •     with the head and tail intact
  • 1 tsp Salt
  •     Juice of 1 lemon
  • 1 Tbsp. Sesame oil
  • 2 Tbsp. Peeled and slivered ginger
  • 2 x Garlic cloves roughly minced
  • 2 x Scallions, white and green parts cut into slices
  •     on the diagonal
  • 2 x Ginger chunks
  • 3 Tbsp. Peanut oil
  • 2 Tbsp. Sesame oil
  • 1 Tbsp. Soy sauce
  • 1 Tbsp. Fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tsp Sugar
  •     Sliced scallions
  •     Toasted black sesame seeds
  •     Toasted white sesame seeds
