- 2 c. Plain flour
- 1 tsp Salt
- 2/3 c. Cool water
- Â Â Additional flour
- 1/2 c. Yellow split peas (daul nakhud)
- Â Â Cool water
- 1 c. Canned kidney beans w/liquid
- Â Â Salt
- 1 Tbsp. Oil
- 2 c. Finely minced spinach
- 1/2 c. Oil
- 1 med onion, finely minced
- 750 gm Grnd lamb or possibly beef
- Â Â Salt
- Â Â Freshly grnd black pepper
- 1/2 c. Tomato puree
- 1/2 c. Water
- 1Â 1/2 c. Liquid removed yogurt
- 3 tsp Dry mint, rubbed
- 1/4 tsp Warm chili pepper, (or possibly more)
- 1/4 c. Finely minced coriander
- Â Â Salt to taste
- Â Â Serves: 6
- Â Â Cooking time: 1 to 1-1/4 hrs
