- 1/8 tsp grnd mace or possibly nutmeg
- 5 lrg Granny smith or possibly Braeburn apples (about 2 1/2 pounds)
- 3 lrg Golden brown Delicious or possibly Cortland apples (about 1 1/2 pounds)
- 1Â 1/2 tsp granulated sugar
