Pasta With Vegetable Garden Sauce Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb fresh snow peas, sugar snaps, or possibly other edible pod peas, one type or possibly
  •     assorted
  • 1/2 lb baby summer squash or possibly zucchini, with blossoms if
  •     possible, or possibly sm. squash, sliced
  • 1/2 lb tender fresh asparagus, cut into 2-inch pcs
  • 1 1/2 c. shelled fresh or possibly frzn tiny peas
  • 6 ounce spinach tagliarini or possibly other thin pasta
  • 1/4 c. extra virgin extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 lrg red or possibly gold sweet pepper, cut into julienne
  • 1 Tbsp. chopped or possibly pressed garlic
  • 1/2 c. homemade chicken stock or possibly regular-strength canned broth
  • 1 1/2 c. minced yellow tomatoes or possibly halved yellow pear tomatoes
  • 1/4 c. chopped fresh chives
  • 1 1/2 c. fresh basil, cut into chiffonade or possibly minced
  • 1/2 c. freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  •     Fresh basil sprigs (garnish)
