- 8 ounce (225 g) chicken livers, cleaned and minced
- 1/4 c. (60 ml) dry white wine or possibly water
- 1 tsp (5 ml) tomato paste
- Â Â Salt and freshly grnd pepper to taste
- 2 Tbsp. (30 ml) butter
- 1 Tbsp. (15 ml) capers, rinsed and finely minced
- 2 x canned anchovies, rinsed and finely minced
- Â Â Italian or possibly French bread, sliced and toasted
