Tokwa Baboy (braised Tofu With Pork)

Ingredients

1 19 oz Tub regular tofu
1 pound pork butts- slice in thin strips
1 1/2 cups vegetable oil for deep frying tofu
2 tablespoons vegetable oil for stir frying
1 tablespoon finely minced garlic
1 tablespoon finely minced ginger
2 teaspoons black bean sauce
1 tablespoon Sesame Oil
4 inches green onions- cut in about ½ long (green parts only)
3 dried chili pepper
2 inches small tomatoes- sliced by 1 thick
Marinade
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 teaspoon dry sherry or rice cooking wine
Sauce
1 can of chicken broth about 14 oz
2 tablespoons soy sauce
2 tablespoons catsup
3 tablespoons sugar
1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
4 teaspoons corn starch
