- 1 medium onion
- 2 cloves of garlic
- A slug of olive oil
- Herbs: basil, oregano, parsley

- 1 handful of freshly finely grated parmesan cheese.
White Sauce
- 2oz butter
- 2 tablespoons of plain flour
- 3/4pt of milk
- A good handful freshly grated parmesan cheese.
- Grated nutmeg
Other bits
- 3 balls of mozzarella cheese
- Enough lasagne sheets for about three layers
- A good handful of freshly grated parmesan cheese.
- A large oven proof roasting dish. Preferably rectangular and nice enough for the table if you are entertaining.
