Lamb Cutlets With Cheddar And Chive Crust, Served With Creamed Leeks And Bacon And Baby Potatoes

Ingredients

Ingredients For the lamb
  • 1 small bread roll or 2 thick slices white bread, crumbed

  • 2 tbsp grated mature cheddar

  • 4 tbsp chopped fresh chives

  • 3 tbsp olive oil

  • salt and freshly ground black pepper

  • 2 lamb cutlets (thick sliced with bone)

For the potatoes
  • 6 baby new potatoes

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • 3 sprigs fresh rosemary

  • salt and freshly ground black pepper

For the creamed leeks and bacon
  • 1 tsp olive oil

  • 2 rashers streaky bacon

  • 2 tbsp butter

  • 1 large leek, sliced

For the red pepper bundles
  • 1 red pepper, cut in half lengthways, seeds removed, flesh sliced into thin strips

  • small bunch fresh chives
