- Turkey and Vegetable Filling:
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 1 medium-size onion, chopped
- 1 stalk celery, chopped
- 1/4 cup flour
- 1 1/4 cups chicken or turkey stock
- 1 1/4 cups milk
- 1 teaspoon crumbled or powdered dried sage
- 3/4 teaspoon dried thyme
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 2 cups diced cooked turkey
- 2 cups leftover vegetables (If you don't have enough, you can substitute frozen vegetables)
- Glaze:
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 tablespoon milk
