Ingredients
- 1 cup quick cooking rolled oats
- 2 1/2 cups boiling water
- 1/2 cup butter or margarine
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 5 1/2 - 6 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 package active, dry yeast
- 3-4 tablespoons freshly snipped herbs (combination of basil, oregano,marjoram or thyme or 1 to 2 teaspoons dried herbs, crushed)
- 1/2 cup whole wheat flour
