- 35 large fresh morels, wiped clean
- 2 to 3 ramps (wild onions),, roots and greens trimmed (greens reserved for garnish), cut into 1/8-inch rounds
- 5 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 3 tablespoons heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 3 tablespoons freshly grated Parmesan cheese
