Korean Beef And Shiitake Skewers

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup soy sauce
  • 1/3 cup dry sherry
  • 1 Tbs. Asian sesame oil
  • 2 green onions, white and light green portions, finely chopped
  • 1 small Asian pear or Granny Smith apple, unpeeled, cored and coarsely grated
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 Tbs. peeled and grated fresh ginger
  • 2 Tbs. sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp. sesame seeds
  • 1/2 tsp. red pepper flakes
  • 1 1/2 lb. beef round, trimmed of excess fat
  • 16 shiitake mushrooms, stems removed

Description

If Using Bamboo Skewers, Be Sure To Soak Them In Water So They Won’t Burn On The Grill.
