  • 2 lemons, quartered
  • 6 large artichokes
  • 1/2 cup extra-virgin olive oil
  • Salt and freshly ground pepper, to taste
  • 4 to 6 peeled garlic cloves, crushed
  • 4 fresh thyme sprigs
