- 2 celery ribs, cut into 1-1/2 inch-julienne strips
- 1/2 medium green pepper, cut into 1-1/2-inch julienne strips
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1 to 2 teaspoons Crisco Pure Olive Oil
- 2 cups chopped fresh tomatoes
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons cold water
