Smoky Blue Grits

Ingredients

  • 6   slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 2 cups   water
  • 2 cups   milk
  • 1 cup   stone-ground grits, preferably blue corn
  • 1 teaspoon   salt
  • 1/4 cup   heavy cream
  • 2 large   eggs, lightly beaten
  • 2/3 cup   crumbled blue cheese, such as Maytag

Description

Preheat Oven To 350 Degrees. Place 8 (½-cup) Ramekins On A Baking Sheet. Divide Bacon Among Ramekins; Set Aside.
