  • 2   bay leaves
  • 1 tablespoon  snipped fresh thyme or 1 teaspoon dried thyme, crushed
  • 1/2 teaspoon  Cajun seasoning
  • 1/4 teaspoon  ground cumin
  • 1/4 teaspoon  crushed red pepper (optional)
