• 3/4 cup  sugar
• 1 1/2 teaspoons  cornstarch
• 1/6 teaspoon  salt
• 1 1/4 cups  hot water
• 3 1/2 tablespoons  unsalted butter
• 4 tablespoons  lemon juice
• 3 teaspoons  grated lemon rind
