  • 1 medium-size  onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves  garlic, chopped
  • 1 can  (8 ounces) stewed tomatoes
  • 1 can  (8 ounces) tomato sauce
  • 1/2 cup  prebrowned all-protein vegetable crumbles, thawed (see Note, below)
  • 1/2 teaspoon  sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon  dried Italian herb seasoning
  • 1/4 teaspoon  salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon  pepper
  • 3 tablespoons  heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons  chopped parsley
