- 1/2 lb. bulk pork sausage-mild (you can use spicier, but I like mild, and it works really well in this dish...it doesn't overpower the veggies
- 2 cups broccoli florettes
- 1 cup fresh baby carrots, cut in half
- 1 cup fresh, vine-ripe tomato, diced
- 1/2 lb. egg noodles
- 1 tsp. oregano-dried
- 2 cloves minced garlic
- 1 tbsp. butter (optional)
- 2 tbsp. olive oil (3 if you don't use any butter)
- 1 tsp. honey
- sea salt to taste
- a few grinds of black pepper to taste
