- 2 cloves garlic, chopped
- 1 egg, lightly beaten
- 2 teaspoons ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon ground coriander
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- extra pinch black pepper
- 1 pinch cayenne pepper
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 cup dried breadcrumbs
- extra oil for frying
- 4 pita breads and chopped tomatoes to serve
