Ingredients

    1 pound fresh broccoli
    8 ounces fresh mushrooms
    8 ounces butter
    1 cup flour, sifted
    1 quart chicken stock*
    2 cans evaporated milk (substitutes for 1 quart Half and Half in original recipe)
    1 teaspoon salt
    1/4 teaspoon white pepper
    1/4 teaspoon tarragon leaves
