Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lbs cubed beef, stew meat
- 2 cups beef broth
- 3/4 cup dry red wine
- 1 pkg French onion soup mix
- several splashes worcestershire sauce
- 1 Bay leaf
- 1 Tbs tomato paste
- 1/2 (or whole) yellow onion, sliced
- 1 large bell pepper, cut into chunks
- (You could also add a handful of fresh, button mushrooms and 1 large zucchini, cut into chunks)
- 1-2 Tbs cornstarch
- 2-3 Tbs water
