Ingredients
- Pasta
- cubed pancetta or bacon (say, a handful - more if you want)
- 1 onion, chopped finely, but not preciously.
- 2 cloves of garlic, peeled.
- olive oil (the chilli-infused stuff is wonderful here)
- salt and pepper to taste
- a few pinches of sugar
- four or five medium sized tomatoes
- 300g of frozen peas (tho' I often use far more than this because I am something of a pea-addict)
- 1 tin of tuna (the standard size)
- parmesan (yes, even with fish - it's unorthodox, totally un-Italian, but I always use it unapologetically -because it's yummy)
