Chicken Tetrazzini

Ingredients

8 oz Spaghetti or Linguine (I use thin spaghetti)
2 cups Mushrooms (I don't use)
1/2 c Sliced green onion (4)
2 tablespoons Butter
1/4 c Flour
1/8 tsp Black pepper (I don't like so I don't use)
1/8 tsp Nutmeg (I don't have so I don't use)
1 1/4 c Chicken broth (I end up using as much of this as I do half and half because there is only a small amount of half and half left, I also use a little more pasta)
1 1/4 c Half and half (light cream or milk works also)
2 cups Chopped cooked chicken or turkey
2 tblsp Dry sherry (I haven't tried this, thought about adding wine last time, but didn't want to with Scott's parents here)
1/4 c Grated parmesean cheese
1/4 c Sliced almonds, toasted (don't have any of these on hand to use)
2 tblsp Snipped fresh parsley (I just used a small jar of tones)
