1 cup Uncooked bulgur or couscous
1 Carrot shredded
1 Celery stalk, minced
1/2 cup Sweet onion, minced
1/2 Green bell pepper, minced
1 Garlic clove, finely minced
1 cup No salt added kidney or black beans, rinsed and drained
1 8-oz Can low-salt vegetable juice cocktail, such as V-8
1 Egg, lightly beaten
4-5 Drops hot pepper sauce
2 tbsp Chopped fresh flat parsley
1/2 tsp Dried basil
1/4 tsp Garlic powder
1/8 tsp Ground black pepper
1 cup Unsalted or low salt bread crumbs
4 Hamburger buns
4 slices Swiss cheese (optional)
Sliced onion
Sliced tomato
Lettuce leaves
