Seafood On A Surfboard (s.o.s) Recipe


  • 1 lb medium-large shrimp, shelled and deveined
  • 1 cup soybean sprouts
  • 1 can coconut milk
  • 3 scallions, chopped
  • zest of 1 lemon
  • 1 T ginger root, crushed and diced
  • 2 cloves of garlic, crushed and diced
  • 1 jalapeno, seeded and diced (reserve seeds to add heat)
  • 1 -2 tsp salt (I used almost 2, but go with what you like)
  • 1 tsp fresh cracked black pepper
  • dash cayenne pepper
  • 2 tsp corn starch
  • 1 baguette
  • 3 T butter, divided


This Dish Completes Two Challenges In One In Our Playful Pantry Group. First Our S.O.S Challenge, And Second, The Ethnic Race Challenge. It's Amazingly Flavorful, And Very Easy To Make.
