Ingredients
- 1 ham hock (I sometimes just use chunks of ham.
- 1 small onion, peeled and chopped the size you like.
- 1 Tablespoon butter
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 3 cups of water
- 3 bunches collard greens or 1 lb., clean,rinsed and cut into 1" pieces
- sea salt and fresh ground pepper to taste
